Let’s be honest – this website you are reading looks old, doesn’t it? I think I first put up this WordPress version of Clear-Writing.com in… 2011? 2012? Somewhere in there? And that picture on the top left… easily 15 years old (I don’t even own a tie anymore, and my hair is a lot messier and… well… about as much salt as pepper.)
This version of the site is ten years old, which is like 100 in internet years. And I’m continually guilty of the cobbler’s kids have no shoes thing. The marketer in me would chide my clients if they had a website that looked like this. But my own?? Me doing client work is WAY more important (and trust me, I’m busy.)
I’m also not much of a web designer, falling into the “knows enough to be dangerous” category, but the thought of redoing the site makes me say “there MUST be something else I can do. I wonder how many loose screws I have in my workbench junk drawer*… let’s check”.

Anyway, I just wanted to throw this post up here to let you know yes, this site is still relevant and current, I have a new one I am working on, and oh yea, we’re moving soon, going south to NC. Life is pretty good.
